Directions to the Center for Law and Innovation
From I-295 South: Take Franklin Arterial (Exit 7) to Commercial Street. Turn right onto
Commercial Street and travel about 3/4 mile to 400 Commercial (Gowen Marine Building, just after Becky's
Diner and before Casco Bay Bridge).
From I-295 North: Take the Commercial Street/Waterfront Exit (Exit 4) across the Veterans
Bridge, turning right at the light at the end of the bridge. Follow the road under the Casco Bay Bridge and
turn into the lot between 400 Commercial Street and Becky’s Diner.
From South Portland: Cross the Casco Bay Bridge. At the second light after the bridge,
turn right and go one block to Commercial Street. Our building at 400 Commercial will be just across the
street (Gowen Marine Building, just after Becky's Diner and before Casco Bay Draw Bridge, across from the
Irvin Mainway station).
Parking: Park in any spot labeled UMaine School of Law or at various metered spaces on surrounding streets.

From I-295: Take Exit 6B (Forest Avenue North). Turn right onto Forest Avenue, then left at the second light (Falmouth Street). Turn left at the next light (a 6-way intersection) onto Deering Avenue. The Law School parking lot is on the right (246 Deering Avenue). Parking in this lot is allowed at metered spaces without a USM parking permit; other parking is available at metered spaces on surrounding streets, and at the USM parking garage at Bedford Street.
