Statton Hammock's legal and consultation practice focuses on his expertise of Internet related law, including domain names, ICANN policy making, social media, online advertising, and corporate governance. Mr. Hammock is the former Senior Director of Law, Policy & Business Affairs at Network Solutions, where he provided legal and strategic business advice about corporate governance, intellectual property rights, commercial transactions, online advertising, litigation management, and ICANN–related policy issues. He became Vice Chairman of the Registrar Stakeholder Group in May 2011, though he no longer holds that role since his departure from Network Solution in September, 2011. Statton has been with Network Solutions for more than 4 years, having previously served as Assistant General Counsel to LCC International, Inc.

Statton received his Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Virginia in 1990. He holds a JD from the University of Maine School of Law.
