Anthony serves as Associate Counsel for Compliance and Technology at the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI). Anthony leverages his prior Internet business experience and legal training to focus on e-commerce, privacy, and technology law. He advises member companies on opt out best practices and compliance with the NAI Code of Conduct. Anthony also assists in conducting the NAI's annual compliance reviews of member companies, pre-certification and onboarding of new members, as well as general policy and best practice development at the NAI. In addition, he monitors developments in state, federal, and foreign legislation that may impact the global online advertising ecosystem.

Prior to joining the NAI, Anthony worked researching and writing on issues at the intersection of law and technology. He has clerked at both the NAI and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) where he co-wrote an article on the changing meaning of personal data. Before pursuing his legal career, Anthony managed customer relations at an international travel company, where he played a key role in the transition from an offline to an online business model, focusing on data protection, web and email integration, and the implementation of an intuitive and customer friendly user interface.

Anthony is fluent in French and Polish, in addition to English. He received his B.A. cum laude in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington, where he was a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society, and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law. Anthony is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, and is also a Red Cross certified Wilderness Emergency Responder.
